Intelligent Climate Control with Voice Command The climate control system in the ID.7 Tourer uses sensors to monitor temperature, humidity, and sunlight. It adjusts automatically to regulate the interior climate according to individual preferences. Additionally, settings can be made using voice commands, such as saying "I'm cold," prompting the system to provide targeted warmth.

Walk towards the vehicle with the key in your pocket. The VW ID.7 automatically detects the key and unlocks the doors as you approach.
Lightly touch the flush-mounted door handle, which activates the door mechanism.
Gently pull the handle towards you to open the door and access the interior.

Sit in the vehicle, close the door, and press the brake pedal. The ID.7 automatically detects the key when it’s inside the car.
Once the brake pedal is pressed, the ID.7 activates automatically and is ready to drive. No additional start button is required.
Choose the desired gear (D for forward or R for reverse) using the gear selector. The vehicle is now ready to drive.

Select the 'D' position on the gear selector to begin driving.
You can now release the brake pedal. The car should begin to move forward on its own. Then gently press the accelerator pedal to start driving.
Drive the electric vehicle just like a conventional car, using the accelerator to speed up and the brake pedal to slow down or stop. Use the Eco driving mode to limit acceleration and heating, which can potentially increase your range by at least 5%.

When you are in a safe and suitable parking position, keep your foot on the brake and shift the vehicle into "Park" or "P" using the button at the end of the gear shifter. The vehicle will automatically turn off when you exit and lock it.
Exit the vehicle and ensure all doors are properly closed.
Press the button on the key to lock the vehicle.

The charging port of the VW ID.7 is located on the passenger side at the rear, just above the wheel arch.
Open the charging port cover and plug the charging cable into the port."
In the cockpit or on the central infotainment display, the current battery charge level, remaining charging time, and charging power are shown.
Press the ""Stop Charging"" or ""End Charging"" button on the vehicle display or at the charging station.
After the charging process has ended, the charging cable will be unlocked. Depending on the vehicle, you may need to open the charging port cover manually, or the cable will release automatically.
Carefully unplug the charging cable from the charging port. Then close the charging port cover.
