Key features
Agile, Efficient, and Versatile The Kia EV3 offers dynamic driving behavior with agile handling. Its low center of gravity, thanks to the battery placed in the vehicle floor, ensures stable road holding, while the electric motor’s direct power delivery provides a responsive driving experience. Particularly in the city, it stands out with its maneuverability, while on the highway, it offers a smooth and comfortable ride. Additionally, various driving modes — including ""Eco"" for maximum efficiency and ""Sport"" for more direct power delivery — allow for a personalized driving experience. This makes the EV3 the ideal choice for both city driving and longer journeys.
Spacious, Sustainable, and Smart The Kia EV3, as a compact crossover, offers surprisingly ample space. Smart storage solutions and a modern interior with sustainable materials create a pleasant driving experience. The large digital display further enhances the user experience with intuitive controls.
Getting started

At Europcar we strive to make your car or van hire experience as simple as possible. Here we have put together various topics of useful information, advice and help related to your electric vehicle hire.

Step 1
Press the unlock button on the key. The vehicle will automatically recognize the key as you approach.
Step 2
The door handles of the EV3 are flush-mounted. Depending on the trim, they automatically extend when the car is unlocked. If not, you can easily tap them to extend manually.
Step 3
Pull the handle to open the door — and you're ready to get in!
Step 1
Sit in the vehicle and press the brake. The start button is located on the center console next to the gear lever. Press it while holding the brake.
Step 2
Since this is an electric vehicle, don’t be surprised by the absence of engine noise. A "READY" indicator will show that the vehicle is ready to drive.
Step 3
Use the rotary knob on the center console to select the desired drive mode ("D" for forward or "R" for reverse). Release the parking brake (if engaged), and you're ready to go.
Step 1
Move the gear selector into the "D" (Drive) position to begin driving.
Step 2
You can now release the brake pedal. The car should begin to move forward on its own. Then gently press the accelerator pedal to start driving.
Step 3
Drive the electric vehicle just like a conventional car, using the accelerator to speed up and the brake pedal to slow down or stop. Use the Eco driving mode to limit acceleration and heating, which can potentially increase your range by at least 5%.
Step 1
When you are in a safe and appropriate parking position, keep your foot on the brake and shift the vehicle into "Park" or "P" using the gear selector. Turn off the vehicle by pressing the start button.
Step 2
Exit the vehicle and make sure all doors are properly closed.
Step 3
Lock the car by pressing the lock button on the key or use the keyless entry feature.
Step 1
The charging port is located at the rear right of the Kia EV3, directly below the taillight. To access the charging port, press on the flap of the charging port on the left side of the panel — the flap will open, revealing the waterproof connector cover. Remove the connector cover to expose the combined charging port.
Step 2
Connect the charging cable to the vehicle's charging socket. You can track the charging progress on the display inside the vehicle. Once charging is complete, a signal will sound, and you can safely remove the charging cable.
Step 3
Carefully pull the charging cable out of the vehicle's charging port. At public charging stations, ensure the station has properly completed the process before disconnecting the cable. Some stations may require you to swipe the access key or card again at the station to fully terminate the charging process and release the cable. Don’t forget to close the charging flap by gently pressing it back into place.
